John D. Ciallella (Jack)

I grew up in New Jersey, USA, studied temporarily at the University of Delaware, then in South Florida for the better part of four years. Now I live here and there on the East Coast, but soon the West Coast. Friends know me as Jack, or Johnny D, but never John. I don't really mind the name, but doctors are the only ones who have found comfort in using it to address me.
Just turned 23, a graphic designer, photographer, web developer, entrepreneur, writer, explorer... and well, you get the point. I love to learn, explore and analyze life to death. I thirst for knowledge and relate to people in a way most never understand. This comes from great experience and a well “re-invented” sense of open mindedness. You never do know when you’re right, but if you stand by what you believe in, accept that you might change your mind (and that’s alright), then you can connect to anyone.
It's a personal preference and strong belief of mine that nothing exceeds like quite like excess. This statement would seem to explain how I've long lived my life...although my life prefers moderation. I’ve never had my own limo to pick me up, but I’m working on it.

In 2007 I created this site with the intent of landing a job or using it to push my freelance career. After this site was created, it won several awards worldwide and became a big success. It quickly became clear to me that this tiny site would never fulfill the needs of many, and that working as a one man “team” is not only exhausting, but near impossible when you serve clients with over a dozen different digital needs.
So early in 2008, I bravely decided to devote almost every waking moment of the greater part of a year, to working with a small team to build the Entropia project we know as Entropia Design Studio.
In that time we've expertly crafted dozens of marketing materials, designed a flashsite , a XHTML site, a secure client site, an affiliate program, a blog, and several other sites, each with dozens of custom features. This was a task far greater than I ever imagined, but we're here, now, and it's amazing.
Thanks to the the generosity and hard work of few, we have prevailed against harash odds, in building what will be one of the most influential, artistic design companies that emerged in some years.
Kudos, Entropia creatives.
PS: This site saw some major upgrades a short time ago, feel free to explore the evolution of web design for me over the last 7 years in the left hand column.
